Road traffic enforcement devices fall in to two broad categories: Fixed and Mobile. All devices (except distance-over-time devices) MUST be home office approved.

By educating yourself about the devices, their guidelines and the scientific principles underpinning their use you will be able to recognise when these devices have been used incorrectly. If you are caught this enhanced understanding may help identify a possible defence.
