Businesses We Work With

We work with a range of businesses from any sector. From taxi firms to companies with reps, from motoring organisations to those who are simply passionate about cars, everyone can benefit by protecting their licence.

To be eligible as a business customer you must be a registered company (or similar) and be looking to cover 50 or more drivers. Similarly, membership based organisations (such as car clubs) looking to add Licence Shield as an extra membership benefit to their organisation can also access business customer benefits (see below) provided their membership base is also 50 members or more.

We keep businesses mobile and workforces on the road, if you are interested in protecting your drivers from motoring offences please get in touch. Our details are on the right hand side of this page.

Dedicated Business Manager:

As a business customer you will be allocated a dedicated business manager to liaise with for all of your needs. You can ask them questions, process and check the status of claims, add new drivers and more.

Having a single point of contact grants you greater flexibility and saves you time and effort by providing you and your workforce/members with a premier quality and bespoke service.

Discounts:

All business customers are offered discounts. We'll need to discuss volumes and payment methods (monthly vs. annual) in order for us to tailor your perfect solution and our best possible price.

Flexible Payment Options:

Business customers can pay either a single annual sum or a monthly sum for 10 months (2 months up front) for a small increase in premium.

Licence Shield can COST NOTHING!

Although Licence Shield can be purchased as an employee/membership benefit by the company on behalf of the employees/members (which carries additional benefits) Licence Shield can also be an opt in / opt out benefit paid for by the individual member of staff.

For instance, employees can opt to have a small monthly premium of just several pounds deducted from their net wages each month. This way, the benefits of Licence Shield (see below) can cost the company nothing more than a tiny bit of admin (under 5 minutes a month).

Why Protect Your Workforce's Driving Licences?

Like adding an entire firm of dedicated lawyers to your business! You can have the power and reassurance that the full force of a team of lawyers are ready to fight unfair motoring allegations for you and your workforce/members, but for a fraction of the cost!

Protects your revenue stream: by helping to keep your workforce on the road your businesses revenue stream is better protected. From the simple everyday need to commute to the office to an integral part of a job description, Licence Shield can protect everyone.

Retain staff: Too many points on a driving licence can be devastating. It can result in an inability to get to work, the loss of a job, failure to pay the mortgage and the potential break up of the family unit. We rely on our licences more than most people realise both professionally and personally. As an employee perk Licence Shield is an extremely cheap addition that helps to reduce employee turnover and boost the employees perceived value.

Avoid Recruitment Costs: Licence Shield not only helps retain staff through protecting their ability to commute, but also saves the company thousands when avoiding the recruitment, induction and training of replacement staff.

Reduce Workload Stress: The recession has seen many businesses cut staff, which in turn has put more pressure, more miles and more chance of a motoring conviction on the remaining workforce. Reducing the worry of a motoring offence conviction helps ease this workload stress.

Genuinely Saves Money: The average cost for a lawyer to defend or mitigate a motoring offence is £5,000 per case. Statistically, each person in the UK receives a motoring conviction once every 5 years. Even at full price, in 5 years each Licence Shield member will typically be around £4,800 better off!

Avoid increased vehicle insurance premiums. On average vehicle insurance premiums rise by +£139, +£389 and +£694 for 3, 6 and 9 points respectively - per driver!

Keep A Clean Criminal Record: A motoring conviction is a criminal offence, this means it goes on your official criminal record and will show up on any CRB and background check.

Cover includes all your private driving too: i.e. social, domestic, pleasure and commuting.

This means any alleged offence committed out side of work is also covered, providing maximum protection for you and your livelihood.

Second Language Drivers: It's very daunting for a driver to be facing the legal system of a country who's laws or language they are not familiar with.

We can explain their position to the driver and hold their hand through the entire process.

Fight unfair policing: no one likes how ordinary law abiding motorists are treated as criminals, licence shield allows you to take a stand!

For motoring clubs and organisations: Licence Shield is an exciting and unique benefit. Automotive related clubs generally have motoring enthusiasts who welcome Licence Shield as a rare benefit, helping to both attract new members as well as retain existing ones.
